New Fantasy Shoes base

Fantasy Shoes have now introduced a brand new sole - the ramp base.

It's not made on the flat last that the Commando, Wedge
and Elevator base shoes and boots are built on, but instead on the 2.5" rising last that for instance the Magic and Lift boots are based on. In my opinion, it's a lot more attactive than the wedge sole - which has gone out of production now, with the Ramp replacing it.

New Rock!

So we have another product range: New Rocks! I own several pair myself and am sometimes tempted to live in them, if there weren't that many other shoes that are also cool :)

The Reactor 272s have become my favourite boots to wear with a Utilikilt, they are absolutely perfect and the first time I wore them out around town I had to shakes hands and had my picture taken :)

First of all the question: how can I use a common data partition. After experimenting with ext2fsd which really really will make hash of your ext3 partition I switched to Fat32 which has it's drawbacks but works. As I am the only one using the computer i am not really worried about file permissions. Another experience was that the ncata64.sys driver is very unstable and after a while reliably bluescreened on boot.

Chastity Belts

I am a switch but am currently playing with a domme. we decided that I should have a chastity device and for mostly financial reasons I decided on a CB2000 which also seems to suit my anatomy quite well. The first experiments were somewhat disappointing though. Long term wear did not seem to be possible, as the whole weight rested on my balls when not erect, which got sore quite quickly. Then I spied a post in a German Chastity forum which showed a harness to support the CB and remove the weight from the testicles, pulling it close to the body:

That solved the problem immediately! Works, is comfy and highly recommended. And it cost about 50 cents! The material is the kind of elastic band you use for sewing (like for the waistband of briefs and stuff like that).

If you look at the last entry by my dear colleague Claws, and now do 'site:graylion.net' in google you will find that all the olde entries have mystically disappeared ;)

looks like a public comment does help ...

Google trouble or when search engines drive you crazy …

There are so many nice Google tools like sitemaps and analytics, but sometimes I have the impression, the good old site:graylion.net search option is a way to get in touch with a history no one is aware of anymore.

We tried a couple of ways to convince the Google bot, like disallow options in the robots.txt file or manually removing old links via http://services.google.com:8882/urlconsole/controller?cmd=siteDown all does not seem to work. Even though the expected 404 messages appear, Google throws a blind eye at them.

We also amended our categories like clothing, crockery, jewellery, footwear or toys with page titles but none of them seems to appear in the results. What is also weird is the fact, that some of the visits listed in Google analytics seems to be unknown to the bot itself.

This leaves one conclusion – Google does not like our new Fetish and Fashion Store at the moment and it's the same with our toy section in Afterdark, but the fight for proper stats goes on. Maybe our lovely indian (also called Apache) together with mod_rewrite will actually do the trick and allow us to throw a nice HTTP Error 410: Gone at all the guys still requesting old pages :-)

There seem to be huge overlaps between those communities (and yes, before you ask, I belong to all of them ;-) ). Goths wear fetish clothing, 50% of the SCA seems to be kinksters, gamers run around in goth clothes (at least here in Dublin) etc. I wonder why this is.

We all seem to reject mainstream reality to some extent or other. We all also seem to be romantics. Is it as simple as that? Or is it more complicated than that? A lot of people seem to have "come home" into the SCA for instance. For most people who are kinksters BDSM is kinky sex. A more interesting form of foreplay as it was. For some of us it touches our deep down demons and in some cases we don't need sex with it.

So is it a sign of a dysfunction? Or a way of coping with one? On some levels I think so. Most people who have BDSM or SCA or goth or whatever as a hobby this probably won't apply to. To some of us it does. From my experience most of us who this applies to suffer from grievous wounds sustained as well as high intelligence and imagination. So we would be probably be dissatisfied with everyday life life anyways. So is it a sign of boredom? Questions, questions :)

Anyway, as i belong to all these groups, in a way i want to cater to all of them :)
